Hempstead Boys & Girls Club hosted a Winter Wonderland Celebration for their members at their teen center location. This celebration was for our members from 1st to 5th grade. Some of the teens volunteered to help out during the party. The children came inside and were allowed to take a picture with Santa, then had three large tables for arts & crafts. The children made picture frame ornaments, decorative ornaments, and wrote fancy letters to Santa! We played pin the nose on the snowman and melting snowball! The winners were given little prizes. There was popcorn and pizza served while everyone watched Home Alone. We had a visit from a magical magician who really wowed the members with all sorts of cool magic tricks. Not to mention that every member left our party with a wrapped holiday gift. We would like to thank everyone who participated in our event. The event was tons of fun and was a wonderful Saturday spent with our members. A special Thank You to Hart Systems for their generous donation of gifts for our members, already wrapped!
