The Franklin site held its annual talent show in order to display what the members had been working on over the quarter. The dance club put on an amazing medley that the older members helped choreograph. One of the parts of the dance that got a lot of cheers was when Kamal Brown and Diamond Williams showed their moves in Sexy and I Know It. The music appreciation club created their own song about the Hempstead Boys & Girls Club that also got the crowd energized. Additionally, there were three different skits that were developed during Drama Matters. The third grade did The Real Story of the Three Little Pigs, the fourth grade did The Fairy Godmother’s Assistant, and the fifth grade did Three Sideways Stories from Wayside School. Some of the fifth graders enjoyed the play so much they started reading the book series on which the play was based. There were other great performances and high turnout from parents which made the night a big success.
